Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team in Central and East Texas for chronic pain management and post acute rehab in skilled nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to perform various clinical procedures. Will teach joint injections and rehab exams. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients. Create holistic pain management plans for skilled nursing patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment to enhance patient care. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure. Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical skills relevant to the role. Experience in occupational health or related fields is preferred but not required.
