We are looking for a motivated, compassionate provider with prior pain management experience who is comfortable evaluating and managing patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Position Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive new-patient and follow-up evaluations
- Assess and diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage patients with complex chronic pain conditions
- Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and medical records
- Monitor treatment response and make appropriate adjustments to the plan of care
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, medications, procedures, and expectations
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with the physicians and clinical team to provide high-quality patient care Qualifications
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Current DEA registration and appropriate prescribing privileges
- Pain management experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff
