Schedule:

Planned 4 to 6 weeks in advance

Hours:

12pm to 12am (12-hour shifts)

Setting:

14-bed

Emergency Department Responsibilities:

Providing advanced care under the direction of the medical team Collaborating with a stable nursing staff Maintaining comprehensive case logs Utilizing the T-System documentation Participating in a formal triage system Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

Master's Degree TX Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license DEA registration Board certification: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP Strong analytical skills Excellent communication abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking skills Team collaboration skills Desired Qualifications ANCC/AANP or NCCPAA certifications Experience in Emergency Room settings Proficiency in T-System documentation
