Job Description
Overview Need adult or family NP or PA for a part time position in a rewarding practice. 4 days per week, Monday thru Thursday, 6am to 12pm. Located at La Hacienda Treatment Center in Hunt, TX. We provide the inpatient care for 60-90 patients per month. You will be working with a boarded addiction medicine physician onsite daily. Passion for helping people desiring recovery is important. Experience in working with patients seeking treatment for alcohol and substance use disorders and withdrawal is helpful BUT not required as you are never working alone and have an experienced physician onsite. Our nursing staff is fantastic and there is a highly rewarding component of being part of a team of nurses and clinicians dedicated to helping change lives. Psychiatric NP and 2 psychiatrists are also part of the treatment team and available for consultation. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions and preventive care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
