TBD About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide onsite care at two workplace locations in South Texas. The clinics support employees working within a large working wildlife ranch environment, with one recurring clinical day near the Encino area and one in the Riviera area each month. This is a long-term opportunity with a small, predictable monthly commitment.Key Responsibilities:
Review patient health histories, medications, and current concerns. Perform routine and preventive health evaluations. Manage diabetes, prediabetes, and other common chronic conditions. Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate and within scope of practice. Review and interpret laboratory results. Perform blood draws and venipuncture. Provide patient education and health guidance. Recommend appropriate follow-up care when needed. Document patient encounters according to clinical standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards of care.Requirements:
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas Current FNP, FNP-C, or FNP-BC certification Active BLS and/orACLS CPR
certification Background in family practice, internal medicine, or primary care Prior Nurse Practitioner experience Must be comfortable prescribing medications and reviewing laboratory results Must be able to perform phlebotomy / venipuncture Strong computer and electronic documentation skills Strong communication and patient-service skills Ability to work independently in an onsite clinical environment Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift for electronic charting and documentation Must be able to reliably commute to both South Texas clinic locations Candidates must meet all applicable Texas physician-delegation and prescriptive-authority requirements for APRN practice. The employer does not provide a delegating physician for this position.
