Job Description
Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in Port Arthur, TX . This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive outpatient setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the community. The ideal candidate will have prior experience practicing as an NP or PA and be comfortable managing a broad range of primary care conditions. Key Responsibilities Provide full-spectrum family medicine services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Educate patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care Qualifications Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) Previous experience practicing as an NP or PA required Prior family medicine or primary care experience preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic environment Schedule & Compensation Monday?
