Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner specializing in Allergy and Family Medicine to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, including experience with diverse patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, and will be proficient in utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Tebra and eClinicalWorks. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care, allergy management, and specialized treatments within a collaborative environment that emphasizes patient-centered care and evidence-based practices. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories across diverse age groups. Manage allergy treatments such as allergen testing, immunotherapy, and dermal fillers, ensuring safe administration and monitoring. Perform advanced procedures including suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, spinal taps, and oxygen therapy as needed. Coordinate care for patients with complex conditions such as acute pain management, infectious diseases, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health issues. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, and Athenahealth for accurate documentation of medical records, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT), and billing processes. Provide telehealth consultations utilizing telemedicine platforms to extend care access. Engage in clinical research activities related to allergy treatments or other specialties to advance evidence-based practices. Educate patients on disease management, medication administration—including injections—and health coaching tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings including hospitals (Level I & II Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols while maintaining sterile processing standards during procedures. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license Proven experience eClinicalWorks is advantageous. Extensive clinical background including allergy management (including allergen testing and immunotherapy), dermal fillers, Botox/Botulinum toxin treatment, and esthetic laser procedures. Experience working across multiple settings such as hospitals (including

ICU, PICU

), emergency rooms (ER), urgent care clinics, nursing homes, hospice & palliative care units. Proficiency in performing complex procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, catheterization, NG tube placement, ventilator management, and gastric lavage. Knowledge of pharmacology related to psychopharmacology, infection control, acute pain management, and medication administration protocols. Strong understanding of medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT) for accurate billing and documentation purposes. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams dedicated to comprehensive patient care. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and family engagement across diverse populations including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), adults with chronic conditions, seniors requiring memory or dementia care.
