Job Overview CannaBuddy Clinic - Ogden is seeking a part-time contract RMP - Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Ogden team as a RMP Recommending Medical (cannabis) Provider. We are looking to have 2, 2 hour morning and afternoon shifts. We are flexible. This is an ideal opportunity for a Utah-licensed provider looking for flexible, low-stress weekend work in a patient-focused setting. We have the ability to be flexible around your availability. Our providers meet with eligible Utah patients for medical cannabis card evaluations and renewals, review relevant medical history, provide appropriate patient education, and complete the required provider certification through Utah's Medical Cannabis Program. CannaBuddy provides the scheduling, patient intake, administrative support, and established clinic location so our providers can focus on patient care. Duties Conduct medical cannabis card evaluations and renewals for eligible Utah patients Review patient medical history, qualifying conditions, medications, and relevant documentation Determine whether patients meet Utah Medical Cannabis Program requirements Complete required provider documentation and certification Educate patients regarding Utah's medical cannabis program, responsible use, and applicable restrictions Maintain clear and accurate patient documentation Provide compassionate, professional, judgment-free patient care Follow applicable Utah regulations and CannaBuddy clinical procedures Work collaboratively with CannaBuddy's clinic and administrative team Eligible to become, or currently registered as, a Utah medical cannabis recommending provider Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently in an outpatient setting Ability to efficiently review patient histories and complete electronic documentation Reliable, professional, and patient-focused Active Utah license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Previous medical cannabis experience is helpful but not required Training and support can be provided for qualified providers new to Utah's Medical Cannabis Program Schedule Part-Time / Weekends Primary coverage needed: Saturday and Sunday mornings through early afternoon This position is a great fit for a PA or NP looking to supplement their current schedule with consistent weekend work without committing to a traditional full-time clinical position.
