Job Description
Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) Valley Patient Care is looking for a motivated and dependable Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team! We are seeking an NP who is confident working independently and comfortable providing both Primary Care and Urgent Care services in a busy outpatient setting. What You'll Do Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions Provide primary care, urgent care, and sick visits Perform physical exams and preventive care visits Manage conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol Order and interpret labs, X-rays, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic testing Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans Perform minor in-office procedures within scope of practice Provide patient education and appropriate follow-up care Complete timely and accurate EMR documentation Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care Qualifications Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license Board Certified NP Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care experience preferred Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Comfortable working independently Excellent communication and patient-care skills eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience is a plus Spanish-speaking is a plus Position Part-Time Flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred.
