  • Full-Time and PRN Advanced Practice Clinicians (FNP/PA) Bon Secours Mercy Health has expanded its footprint and is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners to join our brand new, state of the art Stratford Hills Urgent Care clinic in Richmond, Virginia.
These FT and PRN positions offer the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As part of our urgent care team, you will manage a wide range of non-emergent illnesses and injuries while working alongside a supportive staff that includes medical assistants and front-office team members. Our urgent care clinics are open 7 days per week, 8 a.m.

Urgent Care Scope of Services:
Walk-in access to high-quality, non-emergency care Occupational medicine services, including workers' compensation, return-to-work evaluations, and pre-employment physicals On-site diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, X-rays, and EKGs Seamless coordination with primary care and specialty providers as needed What We Offer FT only Competitive guaranteed base compensation
  • salary is determined by years of active FNP or PA experience and does not include premium pay, bonuses, or stipend programs.

EPIC EMR
system utilized across the ministry Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care for walk-in patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of urgent care needs Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, I&D, and wound care as appropriate Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent service Provide patient education and ensure clear communication around care plans Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Qualifications Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Virginia. Active DEA license A minimum two years of active FNP/PA experience Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience strongly preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Work Hours Full-Time:
Three 8a-8p shifts per week with rotating weekends.
PRN:
24 hours per month
  • minimum Clinic is closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
