Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Staunton, VA. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive patient care. You will be responsible for managing patient health through advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Job Responsibilities Comprehensive Assessment:
Perform detailed medical assessments and physical exams.Clinical Review:
Evaluate and review patient medical histories to guide care.Diagnostics:
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (imaging, labs, etc.) to formulate accurate diagnoses.Independent Decision Making:
Exercise strong clinical judgment and work independently to manage patient outcomes.Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic medical records (EMR) in strict compliance with regulatory and clinic guidelines.Education & Licensing Requirements Licensure:
Must have completed NP licensure and hold an active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license .Prescriptive Authority:
Active prescriptive authority is required.Certifications:
Current CPR Certification required.Experience:
Previous experience or a strong desire for autonomous practice is highly preferred.Benefits Licensure Support:
