Job Description Optum Care Washington (formerly The Everett Clinic) is hiring a Urology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a collegial outpatient urology team in Arlington, WA. - Provide outpatient evaluation and management for general urology conditions such as LUTS and BPH, OAB and incontinence, recurrent UTIs, hematuria evaluation, kidney stone follow-up, and men's health concerns.
- Order and interpret labs and imaging, develop treatment plans, prescribe as appropriate, and coordinate care with urologists and other specialties.
- Perform or assist with office-based urology procedures as trained and credentialed, such as catheter management, bladder scanning and post-void residual assessment, and voiding trials.
- Document efficiently in Epic and partner with the team on clinic workflows and practice initiatives.
Schedule and Support:
- Flexible scheduling with a 4-day workweek option and no call.
- Average 15 to 20 visits per day. Templates are 30 minutes for new visits and 15 minutes for follow-ups.
- Epic EMR with DAX AI, dedicated 1:1 MA support, and RN support for injections and related workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with national certification (NCCPA for PA; AANP or ANCC for NP).
- Washington PA or NP license in good standing, or ability to obtain prior to start.
- BLS certification and ability to obtain DEA registration if required for the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Outpatient urology experience or closely related specialty experience, plus comfort with office-based procedures and high-volume ambulatory care.
