Position Overview A well-established community health organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to a diverse and underserved patient population. This outpatient role offers the opportunity to manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions while working closely with a multidisciplinary care team focused on prevention, continuity of care, patient education, and long-term health outcomes. Providers practice within applicable Washington State scope-of-practice requirements and collaborate across the healthcare team to coordinate high-quality, culturally responsive care. • $167,000 Final compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, and the organization's compensation process Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic illnesses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies as appropriate.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with Washington State law, DEA requirements, and applicable practice protocols.
• Provide preventive care, screenings, immunizations, health maintenance, and timely referrals.
• Provide follow-up care and ongoing clinical management for acute and chronic conditions.
• Educate and counsel patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, specialists, programs, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Document patient encounters accurately and promptly and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Nurse Practitioner Qualifications
• Graduation from a master's-level Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active, unrestricted Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license with certification.
• Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Current DEA license.
• AIDS education certification as required by the position description.
• Community Health Center coursework or experience is desirable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable. Physician Assistant Qualifications
• Master's degree from an ARC-PA-accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Washington State.
• Active DEA registration with no restrictions.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
• Community health center or FQHC experience is preferred but not required. Benefits
