DAY-TO-DAY

Adult Family Home is seeking a dependable, attentive caregiver to join our team. We are a small residential care home serving up to six residents. Our approach to care is built around dignity, consistency, structure, and thoughtful presence. We believe good caregiving is more than completing a list of tasks. It means knowing the residents you care for, following established routines and care plans, noticing changes, maintaining a safe and comfortable home, and communicating clearly with the care team. This position is best suited for a caregiver who appreciates structure, clear expectations, and staying actively engaged throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include:

Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting Mobility assistance and safe transfers using approved equipment and techniques. Following each resident's care plan and established routine Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition Accurate and meaningful documentation Medication assistance as authorized Meal preparation, serving and mealtime assistance Resident activities, conversation and engagement Hydration, repositioning and scheduled safety checks as required. Laundry, dishes, cleaning and disinfecting Following infection-control and PPE procedures Communicating important information during shift handoff Maintaining resident dignity, privacy and rights. We value caregivers who are reliable, observant, respectful, organized, teachable and accountable. Experience with dementia, Parkinson's, Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand equipment, or residents with higher care needs is a plus. At DAY-TO-DAY, care of the resident and care of the home go together. Our goal is to provide residents with a calm, comfortable and predictable home where they receive consistent care regardless of which caregiver is working.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
