Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Primary Care & Urgent Care Meadowbrook Urgent Care & Family Practice | North Bend, WA Are you looking for a position where you can practice both primary care and urgent care—without giving up the relationships and continuity that make family medicine rewarding? Meadowbrook Urgent Care & Family Practice is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (ARNP/FNP) to join our independent, physician-led practice serving the Snoqualmie Valley. This is a unique hybrid position combining scheduled primary care with dedicated urgent care shifts . You'll have the opportunity to develop your own primary care patient panel while also gaining experience evaluating and treating a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries. We welcome both experienced Nurse Practitioners and new graduates . Prior urgent care experience is helpful but not required. Hands-on urgent care training and clinical mentorship are available with our Medical Director, Dr. Dean Steele, a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician . Schedule & Position This position will begin at approximately 3-4 days per week , with the opportunity to transition to full-time as your primary care patient panel develops. Approximately 8-hour shifts Clinic hours are 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Primarily weekday schedule Initial weekend training required Occasional weekend coverage throughout the year Dedicated urgent care shifts and scheduled primary care clinic days Opportunity to increase to full-time as your patient panel grows Providers care for patients checked in through closing and may occasionally remain after 6:00 PM to complete patient care or documentation. What You'll Do As one of our providers, you'll enjoy a varied outpatient practice that includes both same-day urgent care and longitudinal family medicine.
Responsibilities include:
Evaluate and treat common acute illnesses and injuries Provide preventive, wellness, and routine primary care Diagnose and manage chronic medical conditions Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing Prescribe and manage medications Perform common outpatient procedures appropriate to your training and scope Coordinate referrals and specialty care when appropriate Develop ongoing relationships with your primary care patients Collaborate closely with our physicians, providers, medical assistants, and administrative team Who We're Looking For We're looking for an NP who is compassionate, dependable, clinically curious, and interested in becoming an integral part of a small, collaborative practice.
Required Qualifications:
Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) training Current Washington State ARNP license or eligibility to obtain Washington licensure DEA registration or ability to obtain Current BLS certification Preferred, but not required: Family Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine experience Experience caring for patients across the lifespan Experience with common outpatient procedures New graduate FNPs are encouraged to apply.
