Oakleaf Clinics - OB/GYN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in women's health, obstetrics and gynecology. The ideal candidate will work closely with our physicians to provide preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic care to women of all ages. OakLeaf Clinics is a physician-owned, independent, patient-focused practice located in beautiful Eau Claire, Wisconsin. OakLeaf Clinics - OB/GYN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA) with a strong interest in women's health, reproductive endocrinology, and menopause management. The ideal candidate will work closely with our physicians to provide preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care to women of all ages, with an emphasis on reproductive health, hormonal health, and menopause wellness. OakLeaf Clinics - OB/GYN a dedicated obstetrics and gynecology practice committed to comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care for women at every stage of life. Our practice emphasizes women's health and reproductive endocrinology, with a special focus on reproductive health, fertility, perimenopause, and menopause. We provide a supportive, collaborative environment where providers are encouraged to build strong patient relationships and deliver holistic, patient-centered care. Position Description As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) you'll assess, diagnose, prescribe medications, order tests and collaborate with medical team members to ensure the best treatment plan for each patient. As a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services in collaboration with the physician. You may work with a wide range of patients and provide quality care from maintenance and prevention to treating injury and illness. This individual works within a cooperative department, utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide positive patient interaction. Responsibilities Stay up to date with latest evidence-based medicine Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical examinations Provide ongoing care for patients Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Prescribe medication, examine patients, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and imaging Gather health histories, perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures Dictate and document all patient interactions Provide contraceptive counseling, fertility support, hormone management, and menopause-related care, if applicable Assist in preventive health care, screenings, and patient education on lifestyle, wellness, and holistic approaches Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards Notify managing physician about unusual or unexpected events or problems Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients, and families Perform other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the physician and within the NP scope of practice Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Wisconsin Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License Certification in Women's Health (WHNP), Family Practice (FNP), or equivalent strongly preferred Prior experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or women's health strongly preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association (If applicable) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association (If applicable) Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion Ability to maintain highly confidential information Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent patient counseling skills Knowledge of disease prevention Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care
