The facility maintains established clinical workflows to support continuity of psychiatric care delivery on an ongoing basis. A locum tenens psychiatric nurse practitioner is sought on an immediate and ongoing basis to meet the clinical needs of the population served. About the Facility Location Milwaukee offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions suited to diverse interests. The city features the Harley-Davidson Museum, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and the Milwaukee County Zoo, along with an established festival culture that includes events such as the Milwaukee Night Market, Mexican Fiesta, and the Wisconsin State Fair. Downtown Milwaukee also provides access to a theater district, a culinary scene, and parks and conservatories, offering options for a variety of interests throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide full-time psychiatric services for adult patients on-site in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, working Monday through Friday during day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. The caseload consists of approximately 10-12 patients per day, with no holiday or weekend requirements. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for adults presenting with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety ranging from mild to severe. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
