Internal Medicine / Outpatient Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing internal medicine practice in Riverton, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. New graduates are welcome to apply , with candidates who have 3+ years of clinical experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care. Conduct patient examinations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress. Prescribe medications and appropriate treatments. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate. Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, preventive care, and health management. Provide referrals to specialists and other healthcare services when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Manage conditions including hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and pulmonary, neurological, renal, and gastrointestinal disorders. Schedule & Work-Life Balance Full-time providers may work 4 or 5 days per week . Monday-Friday, generally 8:00 AM-5:00 PM . Saturday clinic coverage is shared among providers, typically about one Saturday per quarter . No regular night shifts. Shared phone-only on-call coverage. On-call volume is generally light and calls are screened by an RN before reaching the provider. Approximately 15-16 appointment slots per day , depending on patient complexity and provider preferences. Scheduling is designed to support patient needs and work-life balance. Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification. Active state licensure. Appropriate prescribing authority and credentials. New graduates are welcome; 3+ years of clinical experience preferred . Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Excellent patient-care and interpersonal skills.
