Proven leadership experience in home health or related settings with supervisory responsibilities. Extensive clinical background including critical care experience, medical-surgical nursing, or hospital medicine. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and nursing documentation standards. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia care, behavioral health issues, or long-term care populations. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, and home health regulations including Medicare/Medicaid requirements. Ability to perform patient assessments involving vital signs, physical examinations, medication administration (including injections), catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile techniques. Competence in utilizing clinical tools for triage, specimen collection/processing, infection control practices, and basic life support procedures.
