Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Maintain resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations while documenting care activities in medical records or electronic health records (EHR). Use safe lifting practices with equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to transfer patients safely. Monitor residents' conditions closely, noting changes in behavior or physical health that may require escalation or intervention. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care. Follow aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection transmission. Support specialized care needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, behavioral health support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities. Experience Proven ability to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting or manual handling equipment safely while maintaining resident safelty standards. Familiar with caring for geriatric patients and managing complex conditions such as dementia or infectious diseases is advantageous. Certification in CPR is required. Strong communication skills for caregiver interactions and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare teams are essential for success in this role.
