Join our Nursing Administration team! We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to provide administrative and organizational support. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is comfortable working with leadership, coordinating multiple priorities, and handling confidential information. Pre-Employment Requirements:
We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred. 2-3 years of administrative, executive assistant, healthcare administrative, or related experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support directly to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and administrative activities. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, and meeting materials. Maintain organized Nursing Administration records and documentation. Assist with nursing projects, iniatives, committees, and leadership activities. Track action items, deadlines, and follow-up assignments. Assist with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and compliance documentation. Coordinate communication between the ACNO's office and nursing departments. Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
