Job Description

Join our team at TLC Nursing Center as a Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)! Located at 212 Ellen St., Oneonta, TLC Nursing Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Restorative CNA to assist with our restorative nursing program. As a Restorative CNA, you will play an essential role in promoting resident independence, mobility, and overall well-being. You will work under the direction of our Restorative Nurse to implement restorative nursing interventions and provide support to residents participating in restorative programs. Key Responsibilities of a Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and dignity. Implement restorative nursing interventions, including range of motion exercises, ambulation programs, and activities to maintain and improve resident mobility and function. Provide direct care and supervision to residents participating in restorative programs, ensuring safety and adherence to care plans. Document resident participation, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies. Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize resident outcomes. Participate in educational opportunities and training sessions to enhance restorative care skills and knowledge.
