Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to our healthcare professionals and assist in delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff
• Assist with physical examinations and collect specimens for testing
• Provide basic life support in emergency situations
• Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
• Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
• Perform catheterization procedures as required
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Skills:

• Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic medical record systems
• Experience in critical care or home care settings is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ability to provide senior care with empathy and patience
• Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required
