Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team to cover Scottsdale area. The Hospice Aide will provide essential care and support to patients in hospice care, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their end-of-life journey.

Duties:

• Assist patients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, changing linens, oral hygiene and shampoo's as often as assigned
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the healthcare team
• Help with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
• Providing proper care and observation of patient's condition and significant changes to the case manager

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
• Experience in behavioral health and hospice care
• Familiarity with acute care practices
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Previous experience in caregiving or working with people with developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
