Job Description

We are looking for a FT Licensed Hospice Aide/CNA for the Scottsdale/Central Phoenix area. Hospice Experience is a MUST! This role is Full Time M-F (32+ hours a week) paid at an hourly rate. You MUST live in the Scottsdale/Phoenix metro area to be considered for this role. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has been referred to as the unsung hero of hospice care. Their role, as part of the hospice or palliative care team, is crucial. Under the supervision of a RN (Registered Nurse)/DON, CNAs provide daily care to enhance a patient's daily life, wellness and dignity. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the written plan of care, the Hospice Aide shall: Assistance with shower/tub bath or total bed bath, as patient desires. Mouth and tooth care. Skincare and shaving. Change bed linens. Help the client achieve a good quality of life through: Encouraging independence, eating, social contact, etc. Providing companionship. Recognize and report any changes in the mental or physical status of the patient promptly to the Nurse Case Manager. Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings, as assigned. Request assistance if unable to perform assigned tasks completely. Complete appropriate charting in a timely manner. Complete Monthly In-Services provided by the company and initiate self-study. High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant and/or completion of a certified training program. Current License as a CNA in the state of Arizona. Dependable/Reliable transportation. Looking for someone with great communication skills, organized, and compassionate about caring for patients.
