CNA Sub Acute St Johns Hospital Camarillo - 3.6 Camarillo, CA Job Details Full-time $25.00 - $29.50 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Long-term care facility experience High school diploma or GED CNA Full Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being. To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare. Performs and educates familiy members, as indicated, the restorative care functions that may include, but are not necessarily be limited to: 1) Ambulation assistance 2) Eating assistance 3) ADL assistance 4) ROM (AROM & PROM) 5) Bowel & Bladder Training 6) Splint / Brace / Prosthesis placement / care. Performs the above duties as well as lifting, moving, positioning and transporting of patients while using proper techniques and/or equipment.

Observation, Feedback, Equipment condition, Variance reports In addition to those listed in 1.1 above, demonstrates basic skills including, but not necessarily limited to: Patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, back rubs); Documentation of baseline data (vital signs, intake and output), Knowledge of mobility and precautions for orthopedic patients; Skin care for immobilized patients; Infection control & prevention.

Observation, Feedback, Chart documentation Reports pertinent information to appropriate person(s) / positions, including information needed for IDT / Care Planning conferences.

Documentation, Feedback. Participates in continuing education in areas applicable to position and the patient population.

Education records. Demonstrates understanding of resident's rights; maintains an environment free of abuse, and reports suspected resident abuse to supervisor.

Observation, Feedback. Provides for resident and staff safety through application of safety guidelines, including infection control and prevention guidelines / policies.
