Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide exceptional memory care for residents within our facility. This role offers flexible scheduling options including morning, evening, and overnight shifts. As a CNA in our memory care environment, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' daily needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity while working within a team committed to excellence in senior care. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and well-being. Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, and behavioral changes accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents experiencing cognitive decline or memory impairment. Follow established care plans tailored to individual resident needs, including medication administration under supervision. Maintain a safe environment by utilizing proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices such as Hoyer lift procedures. Communicate effectively with team members, families, and healthcare professionals regarding resident conditions and needs. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining strict confidentiality of all resident information. Requirements Valid CNA certification with current state licensure required. Prior experience working with individuals with dementia or in memory care settings preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic patient care techniques. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous. Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities and empathy for seniors experiencing cognitive challenges. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow aseptic techniques during patient care procedures.
