Job Summary Keystone Post Acute is a 65-bed skilled nursing facility serving both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Activities Department on weekends. This is not a traditional floor CNA assignment. This position is focused on helping our residents stay active, engaged, social, and connected on Saturdays and Sundays. Schedule Part-Time Weekend Only (Saturday & Sunday) Opportunity to pick up extra shifts during the week. Responsibilities As our Weekend CNA - Activities Assistant, you will work with the Activities Department to provide meaningful and enjoyable weekend programming for our residents. Visiting residents and encouraging participation in scheduled activities Assisting residents from their rooms to the Activities Room, dining areas, patio, and other activity locations Assisting with safe wheelchair transportation throughout the facility Setting up and cleaning up activities Leading and participating in games, crafts, social activities, music, movies, and other recreational programs Serving residents coffee, beverages, snacks, and refreshments in accordance with their individual dietary and safety needs Assisting with supervised outdoor activities and outings Providing one-on-one activities and socialization for residents who prefer to remain in their rooms Helping create a fun and welcoming weekend environment for both our short-term and long-term residents Observing residents during activities and communicating any concerns or changes to nursing staff Following resident care plans, safety precautions, infection prevention practices, and facility policies Supporting other resident-centered activities as assigned Qualifications Current California CNA certification required Dependable weekend availability Positive, energetic, and outgoing personality Compassion and patience when working with elderly and medically complex residents Comfortable leading games, conversations, and group activities Ability to safely assist and transport residents in wheelchairs Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, activities, or recreation is preferred but not required.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
