Position summary: The CNA will provide basic nursing care by assisting residents with personal, nutritional and restorative care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.Position qualifications:
High school graduate or GED preferred California Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate required Knowledge and experience in bedside nursing Well groomed with appropriate manner and conduct Ability to communicate effectively on verbal and written levelsPosition Responsibilities:
Consistently honor and encourage the resident's freedom of choice Knock on the resident's door prior to entering the room Explain any and all care and procedures to be given to the resident Respect the resident's privacy by providing privacy during care Provide resident's visitors privacy during visits Honor the right of the resident to refuse any treatment (but must still notify charge nurse when resident refuses) Assure confidentiality of all resident related information Report all concerns and complaints of the resident to the proper authorities in a timely manner Honor resident's personal property rights by keeping a current inventory list, storing all personal items as necessary assuring all personal property is not used by staff or other residents Assist the residents and family through dying and death experience by assuring care and dignity Additional Duties Assigned by Leadership The Village is an active 60+ Life Plan Retirement Community in Hemet, California, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing services.
