In this per diem role, you will provide direct patient care within an acute medical detoxification setting, supporting patients through one of the most important transitions of their lives. Our care philosophy is grounded in a 12-step and holistic approach. Schedule 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and/or 7:00 PM-7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday availability required per department policy. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating census and acuity. Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• 6-12 months of acute care experience in a CNA role
• Must be located in or able to relocate to Hemet, CA 92543 before start date Responsibilities Provide personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and transportation.

Obtain and accurately document vital signs, weight, intake and output, and other assigned care tasks Perform routine patient safety rounds and promptly report changes in condition or safety concerns to the charge nurse De-escalate and calmly support patients undergoing medical detoxification using knowledge and empathy Assist non-ambulatory patients with ADLs, meals, and bed changes as needed Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient belongings per facility procedures Support fall prevention, infection control, and patient safety initiatives in line with hospital standards Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all hospital policies Articulate the goals of HVRC's treatment program, including its 12-step and holistic philosophy Perform other duties as assigned within the CNA scope of practice Work location: In person
