CNA II Personal Care Attendant I Location:

Lynwood, CA Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30 hours/week)

$23-$26/hr

Work Setting:

Onsite Overview Under the supervision of the PACE Supervisor, the Personal Care Attendant I provides hands-on support to participants across the day center and community settings. This role assists with daily care, meal services, activities, and escorts participants to external appointments while ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. Qualifications 1. Certified Nursing Aide education and training. Nurse Assistant Certificate by the State of California, Department of Health and Human Services - Aide and Technician Certification. 2. Current BLS Certificate required. 3. High school diploma required or some college education/credits, preferred. 4. California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement upon employment preferred, must attain w/in 30 days of employment. 5. Prior experience working with physically or mentally impaired older persons strongly preferred. 6.

Bilingual:

English/Spanish 7. 2 years minimum of current experience working with the elderly patient population. Skills & Abilities Strong communication and customer service skills Team-oriented with a flexible, adaptable mindset Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer/data entry skills Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs Assist with participant mobility and transfers Ability to travel locally for appointments as needed Additional Notes Flexibility is required—shifts may extend beyond 6 hours due to appointment delays or transportation needs Work may take place in the center, participant homes, or community

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
