Job Description

Duties:
4/2 schedule
  • Assist with the care of patients in a healthcare setting, under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical staff
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the medical team
  • Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Provide support to patients with special needs, such as those requiring gastric lavage or airway management
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner to document patient information
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred
  • Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and provide compassionate care in behavioral health settings Please note that specific qualifications may vary depending on the healthcare facility.
