Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 960 hours Participates in a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance, with a member focus on customer service, consistency, dignity and accountability. Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department. Provides personal care and escort assistance in accordance with individual treatment plans including peri-care, grooming, dressing, showering, bathing, toileting, feeding and ambulation. Reports visible changes in the participant's condition to the Day Center Supervisor and PCA Lead. Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent PLUS 1 year of experience with the frail or elderly population required; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above may also be qualifying. 6 months of clinical experience as a Personal Care Aide, CNA, LVN or MA required. CPR and First-Aid Certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of date of hire. Complete and pass the PACE approved curriculum for Personal Care Aides upon hire. Complete and pass the SERV Safe Food Handler Certificate upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and in one of CalOptima Health's defined threshold language (Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese). Required Licensure /

Completion of Home Health Aide (HHA) or Medical Assistant (MA) program, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license required. About our
