Urgent Care Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available Pay:
$95-$105 per hour We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team! We offer a friendly, supportive work environment where you can build lasting relationships with both patients and coworkers. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while being part of a team. You should feel confident caring for patients ranging from 6 months of age and up and treating a variety of urgent care conditions. Previous urgent care experience is preferred. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries Develop treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care Order and interpret diagnostic testing Prescribe medications as appropriate Provide patient education and clear treatment instructions Provide an excellent patient experience through compationate care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff Perform common urgent care procedures, including: Laceration repair and wound care Incision and drainage (I&D) Foreign body removal Splinting and basic orthopedic care Reading and interpreting EKGs Other common urgent care procedures Qualifications Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Current certification appropriate to your profession BLS certification DEA registration Previous urgent care experience preferred Comfortable treating patients 6 months and older Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient-care skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
