0-49 Beds About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team. The CNA is responsible for assisting residents with their daily activities. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing direct, daily care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety while assisting them with activities of daily living (ADLs).
What You'll Do Direct Patient Care:
Assist residents with essential daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, turning, repositioning, and transferring to bed, chair, or wheelchair.
Vital Signs & Observation:
Monitor and record vital signs, observe residents for changes in skin integrity, and report changes in condition to nurses and care providers.
Communication & Support:
Answer resident calls promptly, communicate resident needs to the care team, and collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and providers.
Environment & Cleanliness:
Maintain clean and comfortable resident care areas by changing bed sheets, managing tidiness, and restocking clinical supplies as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Certification:
Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License required.
CPR:
Active CPR Certification required. Must have Complete Immunization Record (MMR, VARICELLA, and TB TEST)
Communication Skills:
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively to follow care plans and interact with team members.
