From $23.00 -$25.75 per hour based on experience Job description: Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working the 3pm-11pm shift! This immediate opening offers a fantastic opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients across various settings. As a vital member of our caregiving staff, you will support residents and patients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity are maintained at all times. Responsibilities Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; document these accurately within electronic health record using Point Click Care Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper adherence to prescribed treatments while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support. Assist with medical procedures like catheter care, wound dressing changes, and phlebotomy when trained and authorized. Maintain aseptic techniques during patient interactions to prevent infection spread; ensure accurate medical documentation and records management. Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, post-acute care, outpatient clinics, or home & community care settings to deliver comprehensive patient service. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including long-term care residents, pediatric patients, seniors in assisted living or nursing homes, and individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs. Familiarity with Point Click Care for medical documentation and patient records management. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and basic life support (BLS) techniques essential for safe patient care. Ability to operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts safely while demonstrating excellent caregiving skills with compassion and professionalism. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Effective communication skills for working with patients of all ages—including children—and collaborating seamlessly with healthcare teams across inpatient and outpatient settings. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments such as surgical units or behavioral health facilities while maintaining attention to detail.
