Join us in advancing your career in home care. Overview We are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience working in diverse healthcare settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing attentive and respectful support across various care environments. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate transfer techniques such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, ensuring timely communication of changes to healthcare professionals. Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols while maintaining detailed medical documentation. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory impairments, employing techniques suited for memory care and cognitive support. Assist with patient transfers utilizing safe handling practices and appropriate transfer methods to ensure safety for both patient and caregiver. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Document patient progress, observations, and care provided within electronic health records (EHR/Epic systems). Collaborate closely with healthcare teams in settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or community-based environments to deliver consistent patient-centered care. Experience Candidates should demonstrate prior experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities. Specific experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly valued.
Additional preferred qualifications include:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or related experience preferred Compassionate, dependable, and respectful with strong communication skills Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs Reliable transportation (car or access to public transit such as BART) Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and work authorization verification Join our team to provide exceptional patient service through skilled caregiving that prioritizes safety, dignity, and compassion in every interaction.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
