Job Description
HumanGood community seeks a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to support seniors in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you'll assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and nutrition while closely following individualized care plans. You'll monitor and report changes in condition, document care, and collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding). Support safe resident mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and equipment. Monitor, document, and promptly report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff. Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, weight, and other routine observations. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and comfort while fostering independence whenever possible. Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other team members. Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and organized according to infection control standards. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging residents in conversation and activities. Accurately document care and services in electronic or paper medical records. Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory guidelines and participate in ongoing training.
