You have experience providing hands-on personal care You have strong communication and leadership skills Comfortable completing onboarding paperwork and maintaining accurate documentation Ability to teach, coach, and mentor adult learners Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor Valid California Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Resident of Santa Cruz County Caregiver Trainer Schedule! Full-Time Position Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Occasional flexibility may be required to support training needs Caregiver Trainer Responsibilities May Include… Conducting orientation Managing the onboarding process, including employment paperwork, document verification, and new hire compliance Teaching and training caregivers company policies, procedures, and best practices Providing hands-on training for personal care, transfers, dementia care, and safety procedures Mentoring new caregivers Performing caregiver skills assessments and competency evaluations Assisting with continuing education and in-service training programs Helping create a positive, welcoming experience for all new hires Supporting caregiver retention through coaching and encouragement Working closely with office staff to ensure caregivers are prepared for client assignments Caregiver Trainer Pay / Benefits! $28.00 - $30.00 / hour, based on experience Weekly direct deposit Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401K for qualified employees 40 hours of Paid Sick Time per year 40 hours of Paid Vacation Time per year 100% Paid Life Insurance for full-time employees Help Shape the Next Generation of Caregivers!
