Stanley Healthcare Center is seeking Certified Nurses Aides (CNA's) to join our PM shift team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. Stanley Healthcare Center is a licensed 30 bed facility. The Nursing Assistant assists the residents in performing activities of daily living, provides a clean and safe environment, gathers data on the residents physical and emotional state, and reports observations to the nurse in charge.
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff. Assist in the transferring of patients. Provide companionship and basis care to patients. Maintain a clean and healthy environment Assists the residents with activities of daily living. Recognizes residents strengths and uses rehabilitative nursing techniques to restore or maintain the residents independence. Assists in meeting the residents socio-emotional needs. Assists in preventing the spread of infection. Reports observations to Charge Nurse concerning the residents condition or activities. Performs postmortem care.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. New Graduates welcome! Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields. Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English for business necessity. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff. Interest in the geriatric patient necessary. Ability to build rapport with the patients and staff. Compassionate and caring demeanor. Familiarity with medical terminology and techniques. Ability to work well in teams.
Pay:
$21.60 - $25.00 per hour
