- OWNERSHIP We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA to join our evening‑shift care team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The CNA provides routine nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their individualized care plans, regulatory requirements, and facility policies. This role is essential in supporting resident dignity, comfort, and safety throughout the evening shift.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Resident Admission & Transition Support Prepare resident rooms (clean linens, name tags, admission kit, etc.) Greet and escort residents to their rooms; introduce them to peers and staff Assist with inventory and labeling of personal belongings Transport residents to designated areas or vehicles as needed Direct Resident Care Assist with oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care Keep residents clean and dry; change clothing and linens when necessary Support bowel and bladder needs, toileting, and hygiene Observe and report skin concerns, pressure areas, and injuries Frequently check on residents unable to call for help Support restorative and rehabilitation activities Assist with simple treatments and dressing changes Nutrition & Hydration Support Prepare residents for meals and snacks Serve trays and assist with feeding as needed Keep water pitchers clean, full, and within reach Safety, Reporting & Infection Control Follow all safety guidelines, exposure protocols, and infection‑control procedures Participate in shift‑change report Use and dispose of PPE properly Report concerns, hazards, grievances, or missing residents immediately Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion Environment & Equipment Clean equipment and return to designated storage Perform light housekeeping related to resident care (bedrails, tables, etc.) Keep hallways, supplies, and equipment areas safe and unclutteredQUALIFICATIONS
; Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited CNA training program Licensure & Credentials Active CNA certification Additional Requirements Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to make sound, independent decisions Ability to work tactfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors Demonstrated patience, compassion, and positive communication Must meet facility health requirements, including TB screening Ability to lift 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally ; assist with transfers Ability to meet physical and emotional demands of the positionWORK ENVIRONMENT
Works throughout nursing service areas (resident rooms, nurse stations, etc.) Exposure to interruptions, various resident conditions, infectious materials, and cleaning chemicals Potential interaction with residents who are ill, confused, or emotionally distressed May be required to assist during emergencies or evacuationsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
