The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in the comfort of their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, particularly seniors, by assisting them with daily activities and medical needs. Duties Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and promoting safety. Assist with catheter care and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed. Support patients in mobility and transfers to ensure their safety. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques. Assist with basic medical procedures as directed by nursing staff Engage with patients to provide companionship and emotional support. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of basic medical terminology is beneficial Ability to perform catheter care and understand aseptic techniques. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
