This is an hourly, 12 hour night shift, non-exempt position that involves assisting residents with basic activities of daily living (ADLs), promptly responding to resident call lights, providing transportation and assistance within the facility, and ensuring the safety of residents. A CNA license is required, and while prior experience is preferred, new graduates are also welcome to apply. Schedule 6pm-6am Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Help with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patients with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care needs. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with catheter care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Ensure cleanliness of patient areas and adhere to aseptic techniques. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified nursing assistant program preferred. Experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or home care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in hospice care is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient service.
