About the
Role:
Join Caring Companions, LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and companionship. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team in a rewarding environment! We are seeking dedicated caregivers who has experience with hospice, bedbound clients, stand pivot transfers, proper body mechanics, compassion, dependability. You will be working alongside a live-in caregiver and be the 2nd support person in the home on an hourly basis.
Hours:
Multiple Positions:
1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions available. - week and weekend Hospice experience is a
MUST Earnings:
Qualified candidate will be compensated based off experience with a pay range between $19.00-$21.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance to male client who is on hospice, bed bath, emptying a foley catheter bag. Monitor, document and report any changes in client condition. Engage client in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being, as much as client is able to. Medication Reminders. Maintain a clean and safe environment for client. Communicate effectively with client, families, and healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' end of life care.
Requirements:
Valid CNA certification in the state of Connecticut if applicable or HHA. 4 years of Professional Experience in home care or assisted living environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and transfer clients safely. Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor. Background check and references required.
