SEACREST HAS OPENINGS FOR
PCAs - LOOKING
FOR MATURE, OUTSTANDING TEAM PLAYERS.
Opportunities for advancement: care and shift manager roles and medication certification available. Experience with memory care clients a plus. Seacrest Memory and Retirement Care Center is seeking compassionate PCAs and CNAs for immediate hire at our facility located at 588 Ocean Avenue, West Haven, CT. We value mature, reliable team members who treat residents with dignity, kindness, and consistent professionalism. If you are someone who enjoys meaningful work and wants to contribute to improving the daily life of older adults, you will fit well at Seacrest. Candidates at different stages of their careers are encouraged to apply: experienced CNAs, certified PCAs, trainees, retirees returning to the workforce, and students who meet certification requirements. We provide a welcoming environment where teamwork and communication are central to providing excellent care. As an owner-operated center, Seacrest emphasizes hands-on leadership and close supervision. New hires receive structured orientation and ongoing training, with frequent management interaction to support development of clinical skills and confidence. We actively promote internal growth—motivated staff are encouraged and trained for roles such as care manager, shift manager, and to pursue medication certification. The role is fast-paced and collaborative: you will assist residents with activities of daily living, support mobility and safe transfers, provide conversation and emotional support, observe and report changes in health or behavior, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure individualized, respectful care. Shifts available include 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m., plus shorter windows such as 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. We offer part-time and full-time schedules and appreciate applicants able to work weekends. Immediate openings are available and training will be provided. Walk-in interviews are held Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at our facility.
