Shift Detail:
These hourly cases range anywhere from 4- 12 hours at any time in the day, evening or night. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements Be a reliable and effective team player, display ability to be self-directed and show initiative with client care Skilled in providing basic personal care functions Demonstrated ability to think critically without direct supervision and the ability to escalate when appropriate • Understanding and empathetic attitude toward client and families • Able to adjust to varying home situations Good housekeeping and home management skills, including meal and snack preparation according to care plan - this may include following a specialized diet plan as identified on the care plan Good communication skills and a helpful attitude Ability to use computer software program and smart phone for required education, scheduling and care plan documentation Represent the company in a positive and professional manner through a high level of customer service Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and office staff Must have a current and valid Driver's License in good standing along with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance Qualifications Two years of continuous work experience One year of previous patient care experience; specific experience as designated by work area may be required New Grad CNA's are welcome
