About Nurses 'n Kids Nurses 'n Kids is Pediatric Medical Daycare program, providing high-quality nursing care, therapies, and developmental support to medically fragile and technology dependent infants and children. Position Overview Nurses 'n Kids is seeking a caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is passionate about working with children with medical needs. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and committed to delivering exceptional care in a supportive, child-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, diapering, toileting, bathing, and personal hygiene. Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff. Support safe lifting, transferring, and positioning using proper pediatric techniques. Assist with developmental, therapeutic, and recreational activities throughout the day. Help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging daycare environment. Document care provided in accordance with Nurses 'n Kids standards and state regulations. Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and activity staff to support each child's care plan. Qualifications Current Delaware CNA Certification required. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Pediatric experience preferred but not required —training is provided! Strong communication, teamwork, and observation skills. Compassionate, patient, and motivated to work with medically fragile children.
