Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate English speaking maleHome Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience working with diverse populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory or hospice care. This role involves delivering high-quality personal care assistance in clients' homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times. Responsibilities Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and observe patients' conditions, accurately documenting vital signs and changes in health status. Assitance with medication administration. Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping. Communicate effectively with clients and family members to ensure their needs are met while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Drive client in client's vehicle to appointments. Qualifications Valid HHA or CNA certification required; prior experience in assisted living or nursing home settings preferred. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Valid Florida driver license Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations. Knowledge of home health care regulations and best practices for senior care and home & community care assistance.
