Job Description

Looking for HHA or CNA for immediate start to work in crawfordville. We have a female in Crawfordville that needs assistance with bathing dressing and other ADLs. She has two puppies. She will also need errands frequently. Pay is $15-$18 per hour based on experience. She requires care Monday through Friday during the daytime hours. 4-5 hrs each day. Can supplement hours with other patients in Tallahassee Area. Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong understanding of various health conditions and the ability to adapt care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for patients. Assist in mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for patients. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Qualifications Knowledge of medical-surgical practices, physiology, and infectious disease care is preferred. Experience in acute care, memory care, pediatrics, geriatrics, or urgent care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with hospital environments or Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team. Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.
