Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. The Nursing Assistant will provide essential support to patients in their homes. As a CNA, you will be the frontline caregiver, providing essential support to patients with various needs, from routine assistance to specialized medical care. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a warm, safe, and healing environment for all individuals under your care. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence. Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Support medication administration under supervision while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively. Support patients in home & community care settings or outpatient clinics by providing compassionate caregiving tailored to individual needs. Engage in ongoing training related to geriatrics, pediatric care, infectious disease management, or behavioral health to enhance your skills continually. Experience Proven experience working as a CNA in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Experience in personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, etc.). Ability to monitor vital signs and report changes in patient health. Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude. Knowledge of infection control and basic emergency procedures (CPR, first aid, etc.). Capable of assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Physical stamina to handle patient care tasks. Compassionate approach to senior care, understanding their unique needs. Competence in medical documentation practices to ensure accurate record keeping. Must have experience using Hoyer lifts and safely transferring patients with mobility limitations.

$18.00 per hour
